It took me a year but I finally made it to this place today and I was not disappointed. We got there for lunch at 11:30 and got the last table in the place. The food portions were HUGE! We both ordered the hot beef sandwich and that came with a salad and additional side all for $6.99. Food was great. Can't wait to try more things there. Still can't believe how packed it was.

See, in my world, sushi should never, ever be a two bite affair. If I can't put it into my mouth in one bite, you're doin' it wrong. :D Which is why Friends has appealed to me such a great deal since waaay back in 2006. Some friends of my husband's introduced us to their $1 sushi night on Mondays, and it was hard to find us anyplace else every week for a while! We've since moved, and get in there far less often, but I will always hold a special place in my heart for their tiny little place.
